Spanish for the word "eel," Anguilla is located among the Leeward Islands of the Caribbean and incorporates British and French influences, as well as the indigenous Arawak Indians. The CuisinArt Resort & Spa captures these local and international flavors in its on site spa, hydroponic farm, beautiful landscaping and stylish restaurants with cooking classes. Travelers will enjoy dolphin excursions available at Dolphin Fantaseas, approximately five miles from the resort. The Mediterranean style whitewashed villas overlook an outdoor pool and manicured lawns exploding with fragrance, color and texture. A hydroponic farm located on site produces fresh vegetables and edible flowers through a state of the art soil free growing process. Harvested daily, the ingredients are then used in both the cuisine and spa treatments at the resort. The 8,000 square foot health and beauty spa features a fitness center on the first floor; spa treatments on the second floor, including hydrotherapy, customized facials, body treatments and hair and nail care; and the third floor hosts open air massage treatments. For sports enthusiasts, the resort offers three tennis courts, croquet, bocce courts, a jogging path, personal fitness trainers, yoga and Pilates. Guests can use the complimentary snorkeling gear, kayaks, windsurfers and sailboats. Music lovers will enjoy Anguilla's Tranquility Jazz Festival in the month of November every year.
