Situated in the heart of the city, within the historic Ropewalks district of Liverpool, part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, base2stay is the perfect base for your visit to our vibrant city.
A total renovation of this 1850s industrial building was completed in July 2010. Maintaining many original heritage features in a cool, contemporary interior designed décor, base2stay Liverpool offers 106 air conditioned rooms, ranging from Super Singles to stunning double height Gallery Suites. We also have six fully accessible DDA rooms and a hypoallergenic room. The hotel has two high speed lifts to all floors. base2stay rates are per room, not per person, so our Superior rooms for up to three, Deluxe rooms and Gallery Suites for up to four offer even greater value. Baby cots are available free of charge on request.
base2stay Liverpool offers 24-hour reception and concierge services, FREE Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, and computers with broadband internet for guests' use in reception. A vending machine at High Street prices and ice machines are provided for guest convenience. CCTV cameras throughout the hotel, as well as key-card controlled guest-only access to guest rooms and lifts, ensure that guest security is a priority.
Each interior designed room offers FREE Wi-Fi, HDTVs with internet access, music, games, radio and 50 TV channels, all FREE, as well as video on demand at only £1.95 per movie. base2stay Liverpool also offers every guest room 30 minutes of free local and national calls per day. VPN high speed broadband via ethernet cable is available at only £4.95 per 24 hours. All rooms have a / c, a mini-kitchen with microwave, fridge and sink, tea and coffee making facilities, as well as work space with lamp, extra power sockets including 220v European, enclosed wardrobe with laptop safe, and dimmer switches on all lights, and of course, daily maid service.
The "base directory" on-screen guide on HDTV lists not only the hotel facilities and the many World class attractions in Liverpool, but also exclusive offers and discounts available to base2stay guests in some of the best bars, restaurants and clubs with which the hotel is surrounded, so whilst we don't have our own bar or restaurant, guests can enjoy even greater choice and value. Breakfast can be delivered to your room or a breakfast voucher (£5) can be purchased in advance or at reception, offering a choice of great value alternatives within a short walk of the hotel.

base2stay Liverpool has created 106 exceptional guestrooms from an iconic 1850’s industrial building, in a range of sizes from Super Singles to stunning Gallery Suites. Larger rooms have ottoman, chair beds or sofa beds, with night-lights, and baby cots can be supplied at no extra cost. Inter-connecting and suited rooms are also availble on request. All rooms are non-smoking.
All rooms are air-conditioned with triple glazing and each has a mini-kitchen with fridge, sink, microwave, cutlery and crockery and tea and coffee making facilities, supplied with Fairtrade tea and coffee. Daily housekeeping is a part of our guest services, and irons and ironing-boards can be provided on request. Amenities include FREE Wi-Fi, 26-37 inch HDTV’s with free internet for those who’ve forgotten their laptops, games, 6000 tracks of music, radio, 50 TV channels and video on demand movies at only £1.95 each. 30 minutes of free local and national calls per day are offered to each guest room. High speed VPN broadband by Ethernet is available at £4.95 for 24 hrs or £1.95 for 1 hr.
The on-screen and in-room hard copy of the "base directory" lists not only the hotels facilities and aminities as well as the many world class activities and cultural venues within walking distance of the hotel, but also the many exclusive discounts available to guests of base2stay Liverpool on offer at some of the best bars, restaurants and cafes in the city, with which the hotel is surrounded. Guests are encouraged to shop or order delivery dervices and to take advantage of the savings available from using the in-room mini-kitchen. Beds have pillow-top mattresses and a pillow menu is available. Desks have ample plugs including European 220V, with additional plugs by each bedside as well as by the full length dressing mirror, there are direct-dial phones with voicemail, and Professional hairdryers and laptop safes are provided in enclosed cupboards.
High quality bathrooms with porcelain tiles include either over-sized showers with both rain-head and hand-held showers, or baths with shower ends. All bathrooms have make-up / shaving mirrors, and exclusive "Zero" toiletries.
24 hour front desk reception, CCTV throughout the hotel, spy-hole viewers, privacy locks and key-card only access to guest areas cater to guest security.
